California Trek - 1999
The idea for this trip was born over a conversation with Ayaz about how to see the soon to be released Star Wars - Episode 1 in a special setting. Ayaz suggested traveling to Hollywood to take part in the 30 day lineup organized by countingdown.com and attending the first showing at midnight in Mann's Chinese Theater. While you might think flying almost 3000 miles to see a movie is crazy, I had already traveled to South America to see U2, along with several other Star Wars Trips with Ayaz. The trip was born.My brother, Mike, soon joined in.
